I don't know whether it is solid, but it is not portable, I extracted the x64 bit installer ('solid_renamer-120-x64.exe', version 1.2.0.5) and it stored its settings in C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Bitdreamers\Solid Renamer. I cut the config folder and put it in program's folder but the next time I ran it, this renamer re-created its config folder in AppData. The previous version (1.1.1) may not be that solid but at least is portable.

Categories classification:

Currently, WindowsFileAnalyser can be looked up under 2 categories
- Files -> Miscellaneous (25)
- Security -> Privacy Tools (42)

Would it be appropriate to expand the list with the newly created "Security -> "Forensic Tools" subcategory ?

I gave it a try and whilst it is powerful in some aspects some of it is a bit weird such as the faded text HTML generator.

vmars316 on 2015-12-23 00:47

Its text size is too small for me to use , and it won't allow changing/enlarging text size .

Website and download links seem to be broken.

lautrepay on 2011-12-25 18:10

Thanks, Emka. The download link points to http://web.archive.org/web/20110204080136/http://icofx.ro/anifx/files/anifxpe.zip now. I've also added a mention to the PA.c version.
When IcoFX went payware, cursors edition capabilities were added to it. Probably, that's the reason why AniFX was killed.
