Database Browser allows you to connect to any database and browse or modify data, run sql scripts, export and print data. It works directly with Oracle, MS Sql Server, ODBC, MySql, OleDB, BDE, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MS Sql Server Compact, Interbase, Firebird and MongoDB.

Database Browser Portable is packaged in PortableApps.com Format for use alone or with the PortableApps launcher.

DriveCleanup removes all currently non present "Storage Volumes", "Disk", "CDROM", "Floppy" USB drives and their USB devices from the device tree. Furthermore it removes orphaned registry items related to these device types. Both are not removed by similar programs on the site and take up space on the registry, eventually slow down a computer over time.

To preview program actions, start with argument -T (test mode).

Free Virtual Keyboard simulates a full keyboard. It can be operated both by mouse and touch screen, which allows people with mobility impairments to type data by using a pointing device.

Includes several colors and keyboard types to choose from (right-click the toolbar) as well as adjustable transparency for privacy.

Adware note: this program is listed as adware as it contains an advertisement for a "pro" version of the program listed in the settings. Not setting following the FreeVK.ini extract instruction below will also launch the a web page to the program website.

WipeFile is a secure file and folder deletion utility, overwriting data to prevent later recovery. Although most users will only require a standard 1-pass wipe, the program supports 14 different wipe methods, including high-security military standards. Higher security settings involve overwriting the data multiple times, which is dramatically slower.

For full drive wiping, the developer makes available an also portable WipeDisk program.

Zback is a backup and synchronization tool with a small footprint. Copy modes include update files, refresh existing files, or mirror source to target and can be run manually, from batch/script, or from the command line. Users can filter files based on extension, size, date, subdirectories and preview their backup/sync before running.

7-Zip Theme Manager allows you to change the toolbar and file-type icons for the 7-Zip archive manager.

ISO to USB is a small software that can burn the ISO image file directly to the USB drives, these USB drives include USB flash drives, memory sticks and other USB storage devices, it also supports to create a bootable USB disk with Windows operating systems.

UltraDefrag manages file fragmentation on to improve file access time and overall system speed of magnetic (non-SSD) drives. The program includes quick and full defragmentation modes for frequent or occasional (usually monthly) optimization on NTFS, FAT and exFAT-formatted drives. The program is optimized for efficiency and speed versus other available tools and can be paused mid-defrag. See FAQ for usage suggestions.

Supports over 40 world languages and includes a command-line version.

Alternatively, UltraDefrag Portable switches automatically between the 32/64-bit versions and cleans up the fragmentation details left behind on drives.

IPNetInfo is a small utility that allows you to easily find all available information about an IP address: the owner of the IP address, the country/state name, IP addresses range, contact information (address, phone, fax and email) and more. This utility can be very useful for finding the origin of unsolicited mail.

Optionally, add CurrPorts to the same directory to resolve information of the remote IP address via the right-click context menu.

BPBible is a free, flexible Bible Study tool designed for ease of use. The program has many of the features you would expect including bible, commentary, and dictionary support, search, scripture tooltips etc. BPBible uses a proximity-based search, rather than just a verse-based search. This means that a search can cross-verse boundaries, giving a more natural search. It also supports regular expressions and phrases.

BPBible can read many modules (the above program size is without any modules installed). The main module repository is the CrossWire SWORD Modules repository.

ICU - Icon Configuration Utility helps restore icons rearranged in screen resolution changes, adding/swapping from external monitors, or other issues. Helps keep your workspace exactly how you expect it.

TinyTask is a small, simple mouse and keyboard macro recorder. Anything you do with the mouse or type on the keyboard while the program is running can be replayed as many times as you choose. Recordings can even be compiled into an executable file.

DriveLetterView allows you to view the list of all drive letter assignments in your system, including local drives, remote network drives, CD/DVD drives, and USB drives - even if they are not currently plugged in. It also allows you to easily change a drive letter of USB devices and remote network shares, as well as to delete a drive letter of USB device that is not plugged in.

Phoner is a softphone capable of placing/receiving VoIP calls through SIP. It also supports sending emails with built-in SMTP client, sending of SMS to mobile phones, recording of calls, working as answering machine with remote polling, etc.

Note: Phoner is a more powerful version of PhonerLite, with more features thrown in. They use the same DLL and configuration data (sipper.ini) and can co-exist in the same folder.

USBLogView runs in the background and records the details of any USB device that is plugged or unplugged into your system. For every log line created by USBLogView, the following information is displayed: Event Type (Plug/Unplug), Event Time, Device Name, Description, Device Type, Drive Letter (for storage devices), Serial Number (Only for some types of devices), Vendor ID, Product ID, Vendor Name, Product Name and more.

You can easily select one or more log records and then export them into csv/tab-delimited/xml/html file.

Dialupass enumerates all dialup/VPN entries on your computers and displays their logon details, including username, password and domain. The program can be used to recover a lost password for your Internet connection or VPN.

Bat To Exe Converter takes DOS or Windows batch file scripts (.bat and .cmd) and converts them into executable (.exe) files. Folder Sync is a backup program that can performs comparisons between two directories and then reports new, updated, renamed, moved and deleted files. The program can performs synchronization, as well as full or differential (only items that have changed) from the source to the destination path.

DomainHostingView collects a variety of information about a domain by using a series of DNS and WHOIS queries. Includes the hosting company or data center that hosts the Web, mail and domain name server (DNS). Additionally, you can see the created/changed/expire date of the domain, domain owner, domain registrar that registered the domain, list of all DNS records and more. This information can be saved as a report in HTML format.

UltraFileSearch Lite quickly finds files, folders and text on your local, network, or external media. The program allows you to specify several file masks and drives/folders at the same time; it is able to sort them according to their properties (e.g. modified date) and find files that contain one or more specific words or sentences.

This utility does not use background indexing.

Task Coach is a simple todo manager to keep track of personal tasks and todo lists. It grew out of a frustration that most task managers do not provide facilities for several activities so Task Coach was designed to deal with composite tasks. Public DNS Server Tool is a small utility for easily changing the DNS server. Although there are many reasons to make this change, the program was created to help change your DNS to one of a variety of available public DNS servers. These frequently provide increased security, protection, and/or speed versus your ISP.

HTTPNetworkSniffer is a packet sniffer tool that captures all requests/responses sent between the Web browser and the Web server and displays them in a simple table. For every HTTP request, the following information is displayed: Host Name, HTTP method (GET, POST, HEAD), URL Path, User Agent, Response Code, Response String, Content Type, Referer, Content Encoding, Transfer Encoding, Server Name, Content Length, Cookie String and more...

You can easily select one or more HTTP information lines, and then export them to text/html/xml/csv file or copy them to the clipboard and then paste them into Excel.

WebCookiesSniffer captures all cookies sent to and from the Web server, displaying them in a simple table. The upper pane displays the cookie string and the Web site/host name that sent/received it. When selecting a cookie in the upper pane, the program parses the information in name-value format in the lower pane.

The program is browser-independent, using a packet sniffer to gather data.

SmartSniff is a network analysis/diagnostic tool that allows you to capture TCP/IP packets that pass through your network adapter. You can view the captured data as sequence of conversations between clients and servers in ASCII mode (for text-based protocols, like HTTP, SMTP, POP3 and FTP) or as hex dump (for non text-based protocols, like DNS).

On Win2K or above, SmartSniff is able to capture TCP/IP packets using raw sockets. This method has some limitations and problems, but it does not require any additional installation. A better way to capture TCP/IP packets is to install the open-source WinPcap capture driver, functional on Windows 98 and later.

Information includes ThreadID, Context Switches Count, Priority, Created Time, User/Kernel Time, Number of Windows, Window Title, Start Address and more. When selecting a thread in the upper pane, the lower display covers strings found in the stack, stack modules addresses, call stack and processor registers.

ProcessThreadsView also allows you to suspend and resume one or more threads.

System Spec is an all-in-one hardware information gathering tool. You can see, save and print a complete spec list of your PC and perform various Windows functions. Additional advanced info includes CPU, drives, apps, display, memory, CD / DVD drives and more.

Defraggler improves drive performance by organizing data at a file system level. Since files over time spread out over a drive, occasional "defragmentation" can help reduce drive seek time. Uniquely, Defraggler can function at a file or folder-level to help clean up specific areas, or the whole disk. The program will also list fragmented files and their locations.

The package includes both 32-bit and a 64-bit versions, as well as a command line program. This tool is not recommended for SSD drives or other flash-based media.

DNS Benchmark can help speed up internet service through the analysis of multiple Domain Name System servers. The graphical analysis can help you avoid slow and overloaded servers. Users who may have an especially bad DNS problem will see a noticeably slow reaction after typing in a www.whatever.com address and the website appearing.

Since Google's DNS and the OpenDNS services may or may not be a good option, this tool can help you determine that clearly.

ColorPix is a simple color picker that gives you RGB, HEX, HSB and CMYK values that can be copied with shortcut keys or single left mouse click. It has a collapsible magnifier (max. 28x) and can stay on top of other windows.

Postpone Restart addresses common Windows annoyance: after installing official Microsoft updates, Windows will constantly prompt you to restart. Worse, in Vista and above, the updates are on a timer and, if you happen to be away when the timer runs out, the computer will automatically restart. Postpone Restart will automatically press the "Postpone" button for you, letting you avoid this headache.

To disable the postponing, simply exit the application.

NetCon Manager is a simple network manager to set different network profiles according to location or preference. The program includes IP, Gateway, DNS, gateway, etc.

TimeSync gets the current time from a NIST server and adjusts the PC clock if necessary. It will try alternative servers in case the time cannot be obtained from the first server. You can use the "/auto" parameter to run TimeSync so that it will automatically synchronize the time without user action.

ErrorMsg lets you quickly look up Windows error codes, providing a more human explanation. The program is ideal for developers who work in a Windows environment and need insight into system issues.

Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch is a program for modifying audio, although its most noted feature is stretching. The program includes the capability for (8x, 50x etc.) sound stretching, as well "spectral smoothing" the sounds to escape the audio artifacts common in other audio editors when dramatically slowing audio. Includes many post-processing effects including filters, pitch/frequency shifters and more. The program imports WAV, OGG and MP3 files and can export to WAV or OGG.
