PotPlayer is a feature-rich media player that plays hundreds of different video and audio formats without any dependency on installed codecs, as well as streaming media and DVD video. The program includes configurable subtitles, audio and subtitles delay adjustment, video equalizer, 3D capabilities, playlist support, bookmarks, audio visualizations etc.

The program can also capture video sequences and record audio, split video and add processing filters. It can sleep or shut down the computer after a timer finishes or at a set time.

Alternatively, PotPlayer Portable is also available.

PortableApps.com AppCompactor allows you to compress whole directories including applications, file libraries and zip files. The program is a powerful compression tool that unites 7-Zip and UPX inside a user-friendly wizard. For applications, this saves disk space and increases performance when running from a slow media (like flash drives). For archives, this will recompress DLL, EXE, ZIP, JAR, IRC, PYD and BIN files to their maximum compression settings, as well as an option to decompress an app's binary files that were previously compressed with UPX.

All files are tested using UPX's test feature after compressing. Files smaller than 4K are automatically skipped as compressing will not save space on the drive. The standard Microsoft Visual C runtimes are skipped to prevent antivirus false-positives. Advanced configuration can be done with apps in PortableApps.com Format.

Note: As UPX will alter the EXEs and DLLs (reversible using the Decompress option in the AppCompactor) and some apps may have issues with Zip or Jar files compressed further, users should backup software and test it after processing.

Run-Command improves on the standard Windows "Run" tool with the ability to run programs as administrator, command favorites and more. Favorites can be managed by grouping by command categories.

TheSage is an English dictionary and thesaurus that contains over 250,000 words with 2.1 million word relationships. It also features various related word tools such as a concordancer, rhyming dictionary, phonetic, and more. Volumouse allows you to control a several system settings with the scroll wheel of your mouse including volume, screen brightness, window transparency, and more. These can be attached to certain events such as when a specific application is in focus or when the mouse is in a certain position (over the taskbar, on the side of the screen, etc.)

jPortable (formerly Java Portable) allows you to easily add a Java runtime environment to your portable device. It can be used in combination with jPortable Launcher to open Java JAR programs (many with their settings made portable) or used automatically with Java-enabled apps like PortableApps.com versions of LibreOffice and OpenOffice as well as web browsers like Chrome/Chromium, Opera, SeaMonkey and Firefox.

FenrirFS is an application that helps you manage your files with labels. It lets you organize your files by classifying them with colors and stars, and by adding them to your favorites. FirePasswordViewer recovers login passwords stored by Firefox such as username and password for every website visited by the user.
